Picture it… Fall 2020.

A friend had a new baby, time was running out, and I had an idea: crochet a doll instead of sending a traditional gift.

A few months later, people started asking for dolls of their own... and just like that, Two Copper Pennies was born.

​

Becoming a dollmaker was never part of the plan—but somehow it feels like life coming full circle.

​

I learned to crochet at nine years old while playing with dolls myself.

Now I create handcrafted dolls that celebrate the children, families, and stories they represent.

​

And yes—Two Copper Pennies is named after my two copper babies.
